Also it is very simple to download files, synchronise your phone book and transfer fotos etc to and from pc. Ofcourse file transfer speed for large files is extremely and i mean extremely slow a 5 Mb MP3 can take between 1520 mins to download to the phone. But audio quality is very good. I spent 1 1/2 hrs on the phone t motorola after waiting 2 weeks for them to call back and still no joy. they told me to reset my phone. There is no flash so set the exposure as high as it goes. That's as good as it gets. How many photos have you taken at night without a flash that turn out properly None. It's physics. As for Mp3's as ringtones you have to convert them to MIDI as has been said to set them as ringtones. To convert them so you can still hear lyrics is possible but requires good software. As far as uploading songs to your phone from pc, do it via usb bluetooth drive about A100, you can transfer in less than a quarter of the time that it takes via infrared and a lot more than direct cable. When putting songs onto you phone derate the sample rate, i.e. make them smaller, most mp3's are around 126kbps. Change it to around 90kbps, the human ear can detect little difference in quality above around 96kbps anyway and make it mono quality instead of stereothe speaker on the back is mono.
